Last Sunday’s paper contained a classified ad seeking a general manager, executive chef, front-of-house managers and sous-chefs. We’ll keep you posted.

Tired of seeing endless TV ads for

even though there’s no outlet of the Minneapolis-based chain near you? Well, a company spokesman says one is expected to open in Little Rock in the second quarter of 2010 - that would put the target date somewhere between April and June. He couldn’t confirm the reports we’ve received that it will be going into the former

Meanwhile, Alan Crook Auctions of Ward will be auctioning off the entire contents of that Cantrell Road building, starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 14, including the fixtures, the kitchen equipment (there are minimum bids for the two smokers) and the aquaria. Little Rock’s newest

As usual, there’s an opening-day promotion: one free Chik-fil-A meal to the first 100 adults (18 and older) in line when the doors open, sometime between 6 and 6:30 a.m. (Of course, since folks were expected to start lining up 24 hours in advance, those slots may already be gone by the time you read this.) Hours are 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
