LITTLE ROCK — Police in Little Rock are looking for an Alzheimer's patient who twice Wednesday walked away from the retirement home where he lives.
Eddie Kinchen, described as a 79-year-old black man about 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, hasn't been seen since he disappeared the second time around 1 p.m.
According to a news release from the Little Rock Police Department, officers earlier Wednesday located Kinchen walking around Central High School and drove him around until he recognized his residence at 1200 Commerce St.
"Apartment personnel took Mr. Kinchen into the cafeteria area and fed him lunch, but when they were not looking he walked away again," police wrote. "... Mr. Kinchen has not been seen since."
Kinchen was wearing blue jeans, a short-sleeve brown polo and a baseball cap. He has a light beard.
