LITTLE ROCK A Little Rock man and his girlfriend were both arrested Tuesday after a disturbance between them involving a knife.
The investigation began when Little Rock Police Department officers responded about 5:45 p.m. to 1114 Thayer St. in reference to a fight.
According to a report, 38-year-old Tyrone Bunting was bleeding and holding a knife when he approached an arriving officer and said he had been in a disturbance with his girlfriend, 27-year-old Ebony Bender, and that she had stabbed him.
Police say Bender was found lying facedown in the yard with an apparent cutting injury on her upper left shoulder.
Bender and Bunting were both treated on scene, and Bender was later taken to UAMS Medical Center.
She was then arrested on a charge of aggravated assault on a family member, the report said. Bunting was charged with first-degree battery.

Guzzler...I agree. What is it with people who do this kind of thing instead of just getting away from each other...OR break car windows out, etc....OR worse shoot each other over a disagreement??? It is a mystery to me. I have been listening to police dispatch off my computer for about 5 days. You would not believe the sh%% the police have to check out...someone's neighbor is throwing cig butts in their yard...someone staggering around and needs help(whole bunch of these)...someone hitting their spouse or girlfriend....flashing and/or shooting guns. Scarey.
