Family: Man wouldn’t shoot self in Ark. patrol car

— The family of a young man who was fatally shot in an Arkansas patrol car while his hands were cuffed behind his back says he wasn’t the type of person who would kill himself.

Jonesboro police initially said 21-year-old Chavis Carter shot himself in the head after officers stopped a truck that Carter was riding in. The officers searched Carter twice and found a small bag of marijuana but no gun until after they saw Carter bleeding in the back of a patrol car late last month.

Police Chief Michael Yates said it appears that Carter shot himself, but he said he’s waiting on autopsy results which could provide more details about the shooting.

Carter’s great-aunt says Carter didn’t have a sad bone in his body.

Ryan's going to GUT Social Security and end Medicare? NOW WHO'S USING SCARE TACTICS LEFTIES?
I'd say the lefties are in panic mode.
For you Lefties worried about what Romney's going to do, should be MORE worried about a President that said, " “I said, I believe in American workers, I believe in this American industry, and now the American auto industry has come roaring back. Now I want to do the same thing with manufacturing jobs, not just in the auto industry, but in every industry.”
OBAMA wants to NATIONALIZE every industry with our tax dollars
Of course WE know GM is not paid back what it owes the taxpayer and is not booming like Obama wants everyone to believe.

Sad for this but if the young man's family had any decency or self -respect the guy would have never been in this jam in the first place. Try to blame it on someone else when you need to look in the mirror.

It will be very interesting to see what the autopsy report reveals but it probably will not be released knowing Arkansas.

Lots of ignorant people in this world! This man's history, regardless of what he has done in his life, does not justify how and why he was killed. So sad that we will never know what really happened!
