Various officials were on-hand for the news, including Governor Mike Beebe and Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola.

The new facility will be housed at 7400 Scott Hamilton Drive in the former Celestica warehouse.

The move is also expected to create jobs for those less fortunate, something Beebe addressed in his speech. On of the major issues for Beebe was giving non-violent felons recently released from prison the chance to assimilate back into the workforce.

The new facility will create 50 new jobs for the area.

Goodwill currently has an office downtown at W. 7th Street.
