LITTLE ROCK — Police in Little Rock are searching for a man who held up a gas station convenience store on Stagecoach Road early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the Valero at 10501 Stagecoach Road around 3:20 a.m. The clerk told investigators a man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded cash from the register as well as the clerk's wallet, according to a report.

The robber, who police say had a towel and a piece of black material covering his head and face, fled after getting an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old who is around 5-foot-9 and weighs about 150 pounds. The man was wearing a white T-shirt, gray jeans and white-and-black tennis shoes.

No arrests have been made.
