Crews inspecting the Highway 64 bridge over the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Van Buren will alternate lane closings next week.

Inspectors will work Monday, May 7, through Wednesday, May 9, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

The lanes closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The department said it advises motorists to use caution when traveling through highway work zones.
