Man whose death sentence tossed due in court

— An Arkansas man whose death sentence was reversed last year will likely be back in court this fall.

Lawyers in Frank Williams’ case said Friday that a tentative hearing date for his mental retardation claim has been set for Sept. 18.

Williams appeared in court Friday morning in Lewisville as the attorneys talked about scheduling.

Williams was sentenced to die for the 1992 shooting death of a farmer in southern Arkansas.

The Arkansas Supreme Court last year reversed his death sentence because of what the justices called a breakdown in the appellate process. The state’s highest court said there was evidence presented that Williams was functioning with a low IQ.

Prosecutor Carlton Jones says he plans to seek the death penalty again.

Isn't this the same clown that escaped from prison and killed another man in a traffic accident in another state? Poor guy has a below normal IQ. LOL...

That killer's name is Kenneth Williams. He kidnapped a cheerleader and her boyfriend, killing her and seriously wounded him. Got life without, escaped, killed an elderly man and stole his truck, ultimately wrecking out running from the police in Missouri killing at least one more person, if not two. He is on death row now.
