Severe thunderstorms may hit parts of northern and western Arkansas Sunday.
The storms will generally remain northwest from a line from Mena to Salem, John Robinson, meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said.
Large hail and damaging winds are a possibility, he said. Rainfall amounts are estimated to be 1/4 to 3/4 inches in most areas, but some areas could receive 1 to 1 1/2 inches, Robinson said.
