Hacking panel asks ex-Murdoch editor about ties to former boss

After months of testimony in the phone hacking scandal, focused mostly on the inner workings of Rupert Murdoch’s businesses in Britain, a judicial inquiry resumed hearings Thursday into the extent and closeness of personal ties between Murdoch’s British newspaper executives and Prime Minister David Cameron.
