LR airport inks deal with digital advertising firm

— The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport has reached a deal that will add a variety of new digital advertising to the facility.

Clear Channel Airports said it signed a contract with the airport to overhaul advertising displays, adding large-format video walls, tension fabric displays, LCDs and digital touch screens, according to a news release.

Shane Carter, a spokesman for the airport called the displays a "new, cutting edge, and environmentally sound advertising program."

"This partnership to overhaul our advertising displays builds on the momentum that began in March with our airport's renaming," he said in the release. "Our airport commissioners are creating a world-class airport in Little Rock through a massive construction project."

The airport displays are expected to be installed by July 1. Terms of the deal were not immediately available.

I tried two times to post a comment. First time I used a "...o" word that wasn't allowed and second time it was an "...e" word that wasn't allowed...I never figured out what word that would be. ONLY IN ARKANSAS : re: name of the airport, library/trailer on stilts, big foot bridge, the new world class broadway bridge. Let's see if this passes.
