BENTON Authorities are searching for an inmate who walked away from a work detail in Saline County.
Officials say 46-year-old Timothy Berthelson left his work detail about 3 p.m. Wednesday at the courthouse, where he was a trustee.
Berthelson was accused of failing to appear in court on traffic and other misdemeanor violations.
He is described as a white male with a gray beard who stands about 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has shoulder-length hair and a bald spot on top of his head.
Berthelson was last seen wearing orange pants, a white T-shirt, and a camouflage hat.
