Bon Jovi tickets on sale Monday

Tickets - $34-$44, $55, $65.50, $125 and $159.50, with no additional fees - go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at all Ticketmaster outlets for Bon Jovi’s 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 “Because We Can - The Tour” concert at North Little Rock’s Verizon Arena. Painting exhibition

Works by New York photorealist painter Eric Forstmann will be on display Monday-Friday in the Thea Foundation Gallery, 401 Main St., North Little Rock. The artist will give a talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, part of a special 6:30-9 p.m. reception that will include music by Amasa Hines and heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Wicked tickets

Tickets - $43-$144 - go on sale at 9 a.m. Aug. 12 for the Sept. 25-Oct. 6 run of the musical Wicked (music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Winnie Holzman, based on the novel by Gregory Maguire) at Little Rock’s Robinson Center Music Hall. The show opens Celebrity Attractions’ 2013-14 season. Curtain times will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, with an additional 2 p.m. special matinee Sept. 26. ASU Fowler shows

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage will kick off Arkansas State University’s seven-concert 2013-14 Riceland Distinguished Performance Series at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at ASU’s Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro.

The center’s new Family Friendly Series will feature ventriloquist-comedian Lynn Trefzger at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 and the Lightwire Theatre’s productions of The Ugly Duckling and The Tortoise & the Hare, 7 p.m. Feb. 8 and 2 p.m. Feb. 9. Tickets to each show are $8.

Stuttgart series

Country quintet Restless Heart kicks off the 2013-14 performance season with a concert at 8 p.m. Aug. 16 in Riceland Auditorium, Grand Prairie Center, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas, Stuttgart, 2709 U.S. 165 S., Stuttgart. Tickets are $30 and $20.

Singers sought

The Arkansas Chamber Singers will hold auditions for singers for its 2013-14 season, titled “The Spirit Soars in Song,” by appointment, beginning at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock. Prepare a solo; the audition will also involve vocalization, evaluation of pitch memory and sight-reading. Rehearsals are 7:15-9:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the church from the end of August through March.
