LR man arrested in U.S. Bank robbery

After having few leads in the U.S. Bank robbery investigation earlier this week, the Little Rock Police Department said Thursday that it has arrested a Little Rock man.

Spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said police arrested Michael Jackson Jr., 30, of Little Rock at 2 p.m. in the Nov. 26th U.S. Bank robbery, located at 6320 W. Markham St., near Park Plaza Mall.

The arrest report shows that Jackson was taken into custody at Fourth and Arch streets and has been charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property, which are both felonies.

Jackson was taken to the Pulaski County jail, according to the report. No bond has been set for his release.
