Police say a man attempted to rob two banks Thursday in Little Rock, but he was only successful with one.
Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said a black man wearing a wig and a black shirt approached the One Banc branch at 8000 Cantrell Road shortly before 2 p.m.
When the man was unable to enter the One Banc building, Allen said, he entered the Summit Bank branch at 1800 N. Taylor St., where he displayed a note demanding cash to a teller. The robber implied he had a weapon, and the teller complied with his instructions, Allen said.
The robber fled south on foot.
Those with additional information about the robbery or suspect are asked to call (501) 371-4660 or 911.
