2 men burglarize LR home

Two men broke into a Little Rock home early Saturday and struck a man in the head with a gun, police say.

Police responded about 4:30 a.m. Saturday to 5217 Gum Springs Road after receiving report of a burglary.

Brian Davis, 34, told police he was asleep when he heard someone beating on his front door, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

When he got up to open the door he saw two men dressed in all black wearing ski masks, and one had a gun.

Davis left the storm door locked, but the men kicked it open and burst inside the home, the report states. They struck Davis in the head with the gun, and he fell to the floor while the men ransacked the house, police said.

Davis told police the front driver side door of his silver Chrysler 300 parked outside was open and he said he believes the men went inside of it before or after they broke into the home.

Davis sustained minor injuries. No arrests have been made.
