Man arrested in West Memphis homicide

Officers arrested a man on Monday accused of killing his roommate, according to the West Memphis Police Department.

Police found Justin Holloway, 19, of West Memphis, bleeding from appeared to be stab wounds on the floor of his residence at 2416 East Barton #H7 on Sunday, Capt. Ken Mitchell of the West Memphis Police Department said.

Holloway died on the scene, Mitchell said.

Based on witness accounts, police determined Julius Pulliam, 20, also of West Memphis, had an altercation with Holloway then left the residence, Mitchell said.

Officers arrested Pulliam on Tuesday after receiving a tip he was at the Crittenden County Circuit Court, according to Mitchell.

Pulliam has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Crittenden County jail, Mitchell said.

This is West Memphis' first homicide of the year, according to Mitchell.
