FAYETTEVILLE — A man accused of stabbing to death a family member in October pleaded innocent to capital murder Wednesday in Washington County Circuit Court.
Fayetteville police found David Allen, 25, with stab wounds early Oct. 24 at the Stadium Apartments, 1069 Olympic Place, Apartment 108, according to a police news release. Allen died later at a hospital.
Police said Allen had been stabbed 10 times in his back and once in his neck.
Cantrell A. Graydon, 31, of Fayetteville was arrested later on the day of the stabbing. He is charged with capital murder and parole violation. Graydon’s next court date is Jan. 21 before Circuit Judge Mark Lindsay.
Graydon is being held at the Washington County jail with bail set at $250,000.
