Tommy Alan Jones, 19, was arrested on a preliminary charge of terroristic threatening but has yet to be formally charged in the case. He was being held Friday in the Boone County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to a Harrison Police Department report, Jones told students at different times over the past couple of weeks that he planned violent activities on graduation night, which will be May 15.

"After I get my diploma, I'm going to shoot the place up," Jones told three students, according to the police report.

Jones was sent to a Fayetteville hospital for "emergency assessment" and was arrested upon his release.

An employee of the Harrison School District also did a "threat assessment" on Jones. According to the police report, Jones admitted making the threatening comments.

"The threat assessment showed it was a direct threat, a specific act and delivered in a straightforward, clear and explicit manner," according to the police report.

Jones made similar threats last year, when he was a junior, according to the police report.
