Man arrested in Little Rock shooting that killed 1, injured 1, police say

A man sought in connection with Little Rock’s 21st homicide of the year is in custody, according to police.

Authorities said 21-year-old Robert Edwards, who also goes by “Little Rob,” was arrested Monday without incident after a shooting on the city’s south side that left one person dead and another in serious condition.

He faces charges of first-degree murder and first-degree battery, records show.

Around 4:50 a.m. Saturday, police found Michael Lee, 21, of Little Rock dead in the breezeway of a building at Spanish Jon’s Apartments at 5001 W. 65th St.

Another Little Rock man, 20-year-old Anthony Neal, was transported to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock for gunshot wounds.

Edwards was not listed in Pulaski County jail records as of Monday afternoon.
