Authorities in Craighead County arrested a 17-year-old on Sunday in the stabbing death of a Lake City man.
Craighead County Sheriff Marty Boyd said deputies were called to a home on Craighead County Road 801 near Lake City on Friday afternoon.
There, they found Jimmy Hall, 73, dead in his home from apparent stab wounds, Boyd said.
Boyd did not release the suspect's name, but he said he expects the teen will be charged as an adult. The 17-year-old is scheduled to appear before a district judge today for a probable-cause hearing, Boyd added.
