A Little Rock man who police sought in a pair of armed discount store robberies last week is facing charges in five holdups.

Police said Monday that they were seeking Jesse Lee Jackson, 35, as a suspect in the May 16 robberies of the 12th Street Family Dollar and the Dollar General on Roosevelt Road.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that three people were injured in the two robberies.

Jackson was picked up on warrants at his home on Vernon Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.

He was charged with five counts each of aggravated robbery and theft of property, according to jail records.

Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said detectives had also linked Jackson to three other robberies in the Little Rock area.
