SPRINGDALE -- Police arrested a Rogers woman and three youths Saturday in connection with gunfire near Sanders Avenue in Springdale.
Michelle Martinez-Maldonado, 18, of 1217 Persimmon St. in Rogers was arrested in connection with unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, possession of a firearm by certain persons, engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise and engaging in violent criminal group activity, all felonies.
Martinez-Maldonado also faces misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession or purchase of alcohol by a minor.
The three youths, all male, were taken to the Springdale Police Department, according to an arrest report.
A Springdale officer went to AQ Circle after hearing five gunshots about 5:25 a.m. Saturday, according to the report.
The officer identified Martinez-Maldonado riding in the front passenger seat and the three youths as "known gang members" after stopping a white Toyota Camry traveling west on Sanders Avenue, according to the report.
