Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are back at 8 a.m. today for season five of of the Nickelodeon series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The 20-episode season will capture seven stories from their early days in New York, encounters with villains, and a peek into their distant future.
Mark Hamill (Star Wars) voices the character of Kavaxas in the first three episodes. Kavaxas is a hotheaded dragon man with mystical powers who partners with some of the Turtles' worst foes. Also providing voices this season are Chris Sarandon (The Princess Bride), Graham McTavish (The Hobbit trilogy), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Revenge) and Nyambi Nyambi (Mike & Molly).
The returning voice cast includes Seth Green (Robot Chicken) as Leonardo, Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings) as Raphael, Rob Paulsen (Planet Sheen) as Donatello, Greg Cipes (Teen Titans) as Michaelangelo and Mae Whitman (Parenthood) as April O'Neil.
