Experience life during Arkansas' territorial era via living history performances, blacksmith demonstrations, historical dances and pioneer games at the Historic Arkansas Museum's 44th annual Territorial Fair, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday on the museum grounds, 200 E. Third St., Little Rock. The event will also feature music, maypole dancing, crafts and Mother's Day projects and Historic Arkansas Foodways, wherein visitors can watch pioneer cooking demonstrations, collect recipes and participate in a scavenger hunt to win a door prize. • Beer by Superior Bathhouse Brewery, ice cream from Loblolly Creamery and music will help the Historic Arkansas Museum open its newest exhibits. "Dawn Holder and Melissa Cowper-Smith: Traces Remain" and "Dani Ives: Portraits of Friends" with a reception, 5-8 p.m. Friday. The exhibits remain up through Aug. 6. 2 FIFTY-THIRD

Take time to explore some of Little Rock's past when the Quapaw Quarter Association presents its 53rd Spring Tour of Homes, Saturday-Sunday. Tours of the six houses on Little Rock's Arch, Gaines and State streets will be held 12:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Tour tickets are $20 in advance, $30 the day of the tour, free for children 10 and younger. A special candlelight tour and dinner starts at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, $125; and there will be a Mother's Day brunch at Curran Hall, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, $50. Free trolley service will be available. The Arkansas Children's Theatre's smaller Studio Theatre presents Keith Smith's new stage version of Mary Shelley's Gothic horror classic, Frankenstein, 7 p.m. today and Saturday-Sunday at the Arkansas Arts Center, East Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock. 5 FUTURE

Everything in Robert Zemeckis' 1985 movie, including the DeLorean time machine, the flux capacitor, the Calvin Klein underwear, Marty McFly, Doc Brown and Einstein the dog, will be on the screen -- except for the musical score, which the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and conductor Philip Mann will supply -- for Back to the Future in Concert, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Center Performance Hall, 426 W. Markham St. at Broadway, Little Rock. Composer Allan Silvestri has added approximately 20 minutes of brand-new music for orchestra presentations. Sponsor is Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Exhibitors, vendors, food trucks, workshop teachers, panelists and performers from around the region will gather for the 2017 North Little Rock Mini Maker Faire, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the North Shore Riverwalk, off Riverfront Drive in North Little Rock, hosted by Mini Maker Faire North Little Rock and Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub. The all-ages event combines science, art and technology to celebrate do-it-yourself creativity and tinkering. The outdoor event will be rain or shine. Admission is free. High-wire act the Flying Wallendas headline Mayfest 2017 Friday-Saturday in downtown Blytheville. They'll take to the tightrope at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Dixie Line Park, near Blytheville's historic Greyhound Bus Station, during a private party and VIP event that also includes a concert by country singer Shelby Lee Lowe (tickets are $20). The Wallendas will perform for the public at 1 p.m. Saturday, part of festivities, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. along Main Street, that include arts, crafts, food, a dog show and the Butts on Broadway pulled-pork competition.
