Marking the 15th anniversary of Elizabeth Smart's harrowing childhood abduction, A&E and Lifetime will premiere a cross-network event allowing her to tell her story in her own words. Elizabeth Smart: Autobiography airs in two 90-minute installments at 8 p.m. today and Monday.

In the special, Smart provides previously untold details about her nine-month abduction nightmare . Now 29 years old, she shares the perspective she gained through the ordeal and how she has moved past it to focus on marriage, motherhood and advocacy. Also interviewed are Smart's family members, law enforcement officers and eyewitnesses.

Lifetime's original movie I Am Elizabeth Smart premieres at 7 p.m. Saturday. It chronicles the 2002 abduction of Smart (Alana Boden) from her home in Salt Lake City by religious fanatic Brian David Mitchell (Skeet Ulrich) and his wife Wanda Barzee (Dierdre Lovejoy), where she was kept in a hilly encampment, starved, drugged and subjected to bizarre rituals until she enabled her own rescue. Smart serves as producer and onscreen narrator of the film.
