Autumn Carlisle, fire chief/director of operations of the 70 West Fire Department, said in a news release that Camp was found inside after crews responded about 7:41 p.m.

By that time, the fire had "extinguished itself due to lack of oxygen," Carlisle noted, adding it appeared Camp "attempted to escape but was unsuccessful."

The cause of the fire wasn't yet known.
