WASHINGTON COUNTY

St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale, 2898 S. 48th St., serves a free Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, 6 W. Dickson St., presents the Razorbones, the University of Arkansas trombone ensemble in "Carol of the Bones" at 5 p.m. Nov. 26 in the sanctuary. They will peform a recital of carols and holiday jingles. Admission is free.

The church offers "A Festival of Nine Lesssons and Carols" at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 am. Dec. 10 in the sanctuary. Admission is free.

The church also plans a Christmas block party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 15 on the Dickson Street campus. Admission is free.

BENTON COUNTY

Festival of Lessons and Carols will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 W. Poplar Ave., Rogers. Choirs from several churches in Rogers will present new music, including St. Vincent, First Presbyterian Church, Grace United Methodist Church, Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church, Central United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, 1101 W. Hudson Road, holds just one worship service Sunday, at 10 a.m. Sunday school and Bible classes meet at 8:45 a.m. The youth of the church serve a Thanksgiving meal after the service.

Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, 2535 W. New Hope Road, serves this year as a collection point form more than 7,000 shoeboxes of gifts for children all over the world through the Operation Christmas Child program of Samaritan's purse. Football team members from Bentonville and Springdale schools volunteer their time to load donated shoeboxes into trucks Sunday and Monday.

First Baptist Church in Rogers, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Road, delivers free Thanksgiving meals Thursday in the Rogers city limits for those in need and the home-bound. Meals include ham, green beans, potatoes and gravy, a roll, dressing and dessert. Reservations are required through the church office, beginning Monday.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., offers a Thanksgiving worship service at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. A potluck meal will be served after the service.

First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, serves a Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The menu includes turkey and dressing, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, honey-glazed carrots, cranberry relish, homemade rolls and assorted desserts. The meal costs $12, but is free for children 10 and younger. Tickets are available in the church office and must be purchased by Sunday

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., blesses Christmas boxes during the worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The boxes will be delivered to 150 children in Benton County through the Sharing and Caring program. Church members will pack snack packs at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Samaritan Community Center.

The church serves a Thanksgiving potluck after the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.

The church offers a "Make and Take" for family Christmas ornaments from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 2. Each participant should bring a small set of clear, battery-operated Christmas lights. Reservations are requested by Nov. 28.
