An emergency management services official says a man was shot in the leg in Arkansas on Friday afternoon.
Central EMS Chief Becky Stewart said the man was on East Huntsville Road, near White River Bridge in Elkins, when he was shot around 2:45 p.m.
The victim was reportedly taken to Washington Regional Medical Center around 3:15 p.m.
No further information was available as of Friday afternoon.
