A fourth person has been arrested in a deadly carjacking that happened at a central Arkansas apartment complex last month.

The Pulaski County sheriff's office wrote Sunday night in a social media post that Joshua Cangiano, 27, surrendered to law enforcement in Boone County.

Authorities had named him hours before as a suspect in the death of 29-year-old James Ward of Jacksonville, who was fatally shot during a carjacking Sept. 28 at Chapel Ridge Apartments, just outside North Little Rock city limits at 5900 McCain Park Place.

Three other people have been arrested this month in the killing. Jacksonville resident Jackie Andrew Jackson III, 28, was arrested Friday; Jeffery King, 27, of Jacksonville was taken into custody Oct. 4; and Terry Miller Jr., 26, of Cabot was jailed Oct. 2.

As of Sunday night, all three remained at the Pulaski County jail on capital murder charges, records show. No bail has been set.

According to a social media post, Cangiano will be taken to the jail Monday morning.
