North Little Rock man, 64, convicted on child pornography charges

A North Little Rock man will serve a three-year prison term for child pornography charges, according to a statement released by Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge on Friday.

David Wayne Davis, 64, was convicted on 30 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving children.

Rutledge said the man was arrested after the Arkansas Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant in 2015.

In addition to serving a prison sentence, Davis must register as a sex offender.
