Little Rock Taco Bell robbed at gunpoint, authorities say

Two gunmen, including one wearing a hospital mask, robbed a Little Rock fast-food restaurant Friday night, police say.

The holdup happened around 9:30 p.m. at Taco Bell's 4424 W. Markham St. location, near UAMS Medical Center, according to a report from the city's Police Department.

A 24-year-old employee told officers that one robber, wearing all black, placed a handgun to the back of his head. The worker said he laid on the ground and said "he did not want any problems."

The second robber — described as wearing a gray sweater, black pants, and a hospital mask over his face — pointed a handgun at an 18-year-old employee and ordered him to hand over money before he blew his "head off," the report states.

The teen told police he opened the register and that assailant grabbed an unknown amount of cash. Both gunmen reportedly fled on foot, heading south from the restaurant.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
