Robbed at gunpoint at North Little Rock skate park, 3 men tell police

Three 21-year-olds were robbed at gunpoint at a North Little Rock skate park Tuesday afternoon, according to a police report.

Officers responded shortly after 2 p.m. to 2801 River Road, the listed address for Riverview Skate Park.

The trio told authorities that they were riding their skateboard when they noticed a dark-colored Jeep pull up next to their Ford Expedition. When they started getting into the SUV to leave, two people got out of the Jeep and asked for "cigarettes, weed and a lighter," the report states.

When the victims said they didn't have anything, one of the individuals pulled out a handgun and demanded that they give him "everything you got," according to police.

Listed as stolen was: three wallets with a total of $600 cash and identification and debit cards inside, three iPhones and two sets of keys.

The victims — one Little Rock resident and two North Little Rock residents — told police that the Jeep fled north on Paul Duke Drive.

Officers noted that they eventually recovered everything but one set of keys and one wallet. The wallets that were found did not have any cash.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
