A 36-year-old Arkansas man was shot while he was riding a bicycle Tuesday, an affidavit shows.

According to the document, Marianna police found Marlyce Harris lying on the front porch of a Georgia Street residence with "what appeared to be blood on his pants." He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but his condition was unknown Friday afternoon.

Harris told police that he was riding his bike on Jarett Alley when a tan Buick came up behind him. Demetrious McFadden fired several shots, and Harris was struck multiple times, the affidavit states.

Officers noted that six shell casings were found at the scene.

A passenger in the Buick told authorities that McFadden had told them he was going to shoot Harris but "they thought he was just talking."

McFadden, 21, had not been found as of Friday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
