Greenwood teen killed in Friday accident

A teenager died and two youths were hurt after the car they were in overturned early Friday, according to a report from Arkansas State Police, who also identified a woman who died in an accident earlier this week.

Friday's single-vehicle wreck happened around 3:10 a.m. on U.S. 67 in Judsonia, according to a preliminary state police report.

A 2010 Toyota Yaris, driven by an unidentified boy, was headed north on the highway when the vehicle veered off the road's right side and overturned, the report states.

A passenger -- Hannah Collins, 18, of Greenwood -- was killed.

The Toyota's driver and another unidentified boy who was a passenger were listed as hurt, though the report didn't provide information on the extent of their injuries. State police spokesman Bill Sadler didn't know the boys' ages.

State police also have identified a 63-year-old woman killed Tuesday when the motorcycle she was driving traveled off an Arkansas highway and hit a fence.

The crash happened about 4:40 p.m. on Arkansas 124 in the Faulkner County town of Quitman, according to a preliminary report.

A Yamaha driven east by Eutophia Burnett-King of Pueblo, Colo., left the highway and traveled down an embankment before striking a fence, state police said.

Burnett-King suffered fatal injuries as a result, the report said. No one else was listed as hurt.

The weather was clear and roads were dry at the time of both crashes, state police reported.
