So now our governor is shocked. Really. Where was he while this was going on? He took office in 2015 and this continued until 2017. He didn't notice that his nephew went to the World Series on Cranford's dime? He didn't notice that his nephew was Cranford's divorce attorney? He had nothing to do with Jeremy deciding not to run again after Cranford, his client, was charged with murder-for-hire? Funny, other folks in Little Rock had long suspected that Jeremy was dirty, but not his own uncle? Governor Hutchinson supported people in this last primary that he knew had shady dealings, like Bob Ballinger and Ecclesia. And now, he professes shock. Sorry, I ain't buyin'. The feds stated repeatedly in the 43 page Cranford indictment, that they still didn't know all the players and they intended to pursue this investigation until all those involved in public corruption are brought to justice. I certainly hope they do because I am sure these aren't the only rip off artists in our legislature. So, Governor Hutchinson, you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. Your plastic smile and phony platitudes just won't cut it this time. Let the purge continue!

What at Sen. Joyce Elliot? The FBI subpoenaed her GIF expenditures and she gave ole Rusty a boat load of money as well as other questionable groups like St. Marks to but HD cameras for TV broadcasts and another for a choir concert and a huge amount to Philander Smith college.

JMort...Right on again. I knew that Asa was corrupt (or was fairly sure) years ago and that is why I did not cast a vote for him. However, when these people in Arkansas go to vote, they do it (for the most part) in two ways: 1. They look for an R or D and vote that way straight through; or 2. They look for names they recognize and choose those. Very few, actually research and determine who would be best for the State of Arkansas. This is how crooks get re-elected over and over again. "Oh, I recognize that guy! Let me vote for him/her." Or, "well, I don't really care for him/her, but he/she is a rep/dem so I will vote for him/her!"

Just completely insane how the citizens vote.

Razorback, you are saying names. Where are your facts? Who do you work for? What’s your agenda? What’s your problem with St. Mark’s? What do St. Mark’s and Joyce Elliot have in common?

Hog, the governor has known his nephew since his nephew was born. I think he knew him in 2013. What with the Hutchinson/Hendren family's past, multiple transgressions while in public office, maybe they don't discuss their latest foibles at family get togethers. But, I suspect, they know. BTW, I read the entire 43 page indictment, not just this article.

This is our GREAT and WONDERFUL Republican leadership at its finest. Really proud to live in the Natural State where Republicans have taken over the land and are now rapeing it and the people who live here as they feed their bank accounts.

It seems they are all Crooks..... they are only interested in how much they can put in their pockets. The rumors of some of the bill that will be filed this Winter are scary... and will put more money in their pocket and the Gov and lt. Gov are onboard with several of them.... Need to Vote all the Rats out of office...and send them to the pea patch at Cummins...
