5 arrested in Arkansas shooting that killed 1, injured 2; police believe 1 suspect died after being run over by fleeing accomplices

Five people have been arrested in connection with an Arkansas shooting that left one person dead and two injured, police say, and authorities believe one suspect died after being run over by his fleeing accomplices.

Officers were called around 7 p.m. Monday to a residence in the 1700 block of Sales Street in reference to shots fired, according to a news release from the Blytheville Police Department.

Three people were found shot at the residence, and one later died, authorities said. The victims had not been identified as of Wednesday afternoon.

While officers were on the scene, they were notified that another individual — later determined to be a suspect in the shooting — was taken to a nearby hospital. Police believe he died from injuries sustained by being run over by a vehicle as his accomplices were fleeing the scene.

Arrested in the case are Raymond Juneraick, 52; Randy Rocha, 22; Antonio Rocha, 28; Israel Rocha, 52; and Adam Rocha, 26.

Charges filed in the case include first-degree murder, first-degree battery, manslaughter, terroristic act and engaging in violent criminal group activity. It was not immediately clear what charges each suspect is facing.

Assisting in the investigation were the Arkansas State Police, Drug Task Force, Missouri Highway Patrol, Butler County sheriff’s office and Sikeston, Mo., Police Department Special Operations Group.
