A wine bar in downtown Little Rock will shut its doors at the end of this month, its owners announced.

In a post on the business's Facebook page, the owners of Zin Urban Wine & Beer Bar at 300 River Market Ave. said "it is with heavy hearts" that they set Saturday as the location's last day in business. A second location on North Rodney Parham Road will remain open.

A farewell event at the downtown location is planned for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

"We invite all of our past and present customers to come by and help us celebrate and say goodbye [to] a place we have loved owning," the post said.

Zin opened the downtown location in 2010, describing it at that time as "a hip modern take on the traditional wine bar concept."
