Tex-Mex taco chain opens first Arkansas location

A Tex-Mex taco chain's first location in the Natural State had its grand opening last week, according to a news release.

Twisted Taco is located on the first floor of Donaghey Hall at the University of Central Arkansas, 250 Donaghey Ave.

According to the restaurant's website, it's an Atlanta-based chain that has four full-service locations in Georgia and "counter service locations" at college campuses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, New York and Pennsylvania.

UCA said the eatery will serve burritos, nachos, homemade salsas and, of course, “Twisted Tacos.” The first floor of Donaghey Hall also includes a Marble Slab Creamery/Great American Cookies and an Einstein Bros. Bagels.
