Arkansas high school football team ends season early for 2nd time in 3 years

Rose Bud is canceling the remainder of its 2018 football season because of low numbers, the Arkansas Activities Association said Thursday afternoon.

Since no 2-3A Conference games have been played by the Ramblers, their schedule will be a "no contest," according to the organization.

Rose Bud was 0-3 this season and was outscored 151-32 in its three losses to Quitman, Cutter Morning Star and Western Yell County. This is the second time in three seasons that Rose Bud was unable to finish its season. In 2016, the school forfeited its remaining six games after an 0-4 start because of low numbers.
