Shannon A. Thomason

Chief Petty Officer Shannon A. Thomason, age 46, of Perry, formerly of England, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. He was born Sept. 5, 1963, in Stuttgart, Ark., a son of the late Harley Allen Thomason Jr. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and a dedicated friend and proud sailor. He was currently serving in the U.S. Navy in aviation maintenance and administration. Survivors include his wife, Jeri Lynn Fischer Thomason of Perry; three daughters, Jessica, Sarah, and Chloe Thomason all of Perry; mother, Gloria Davis Guess of England; two sisters, Cindy Crews of North Little Rock and Shelly Thomason of Sherwood; one brother, Chad Guess of England. Graveside services with military honors will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Chaplain Charles Chamboee officiating.
