John Walter Bailey

John Walter Bailey of Drasco was born on September 16, 1963, and passed away on September 29, 2010, at the age of 47. He was the son of Kathaleene Lafferty of Parma and the late Dillard Bailey. He has always loved trucking and co-owned Inman & Bailey Dozer Service for the past 15 years. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church in Greers Ferry where he grew up and always considered home. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christy Bailey of Drasco; stepson, Derek Burnett; stepdaughter, Sidnie Burnett; niece, Lisa Bailey of Pearson; and great niece and nephew, Bailey and Gregory. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Mike Bailey and nephew, Jason Bailey. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Lone Star Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 2, at Lone Star Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cross Roads Cemetery. Pallbearers are Andy Hunt, Johnny Bittle, Robert Nichols, Lee Hunt, Derek Burnett, and Steve Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Inman, Wayne Kittle, T. J.
