JAMES PAUL SCROGGIN, 79, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, after battling cancer. He was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Little Rock. His parents were Paul and Maggie Scroggin. He was married 43 years to Delila Covington Scroggin who passed away November 1998. James served his country during the Korean War. After fighting in the war, he spent his life building a reputation for constructing quality custom homes throughout the Little Rock area. He is survived by his son Jimmy Scroggin, wife Nita Chenault Scroggin; daughter Susan Edwards husband Mike; grandchildren Danielle Scroggin Carrington, her husband Reuben, Tony Scroggin, Jessica Edwards, and Samuel Edwards; his brother Bob Scroggin and wife Bobbie, sisters Rosemary Martin, and Pauline Short; sister-in-law Wanda Sipe and husband Ed; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72117, (501) 835-3515.
