Gladys Marie Winegar Sharp, 95, of Benton, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Alice Knuckolls Winegar. She was a member of Martindale Baptist Church of Little Rock, and was a real estate agent, and was in Avon sales. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was dedicated to her family. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy J. Hamlin and husband B.J. of Benton; three sons, Jimmy Ray Sharp of Benton, Lonnie C. Sharp and wife Ann of McRae, and Kenneth D. Sharp of Little Rock; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Iwilda Moore of North Little Rock; and a brother, Cecil Winegar of Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ray O. Sharp; five sisters; three brothers; one great-grandchild, Christopher; and daughter-in-law, Glonda Sue Sharp. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
