Betty Jim Casey

Betty Jim Casey, 79, of Hot Springs Village, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Ar. She was born September 14, 1931 in Paron, Ark. to the late James A. Hinson and Flossie Hester Hinson. She was a homemaker and a member of Jessieville Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Henry Earl Casey; son, Henry Earl Casey Jr.; brother, Roy H. Hinson; and sister, Helen M. Roller. Betty is survived by daughter, Carrie (Kevin) Davis of Hot Springs Village; sister, Ella Mae (Gib) Blackmon of Jessieville; brothers, H.M. "Pete" Hinson of Hot Springs and Lindon (Martha) Hinson of Benton; daughter-in-law, Denise Casey Purdy of Little Rock; grandchildren: Amber (Marc) Luckey of Chicago, Ill., Bryan D. Casey of Hyde Park, N.Y., Benjamin Casey of Little Rock, and Bradley Davis and Elisabeth Davis, both of Hot Springs Village; great-grandsons, Kia Luckey of Chicago, Ill. and Casey Wessel of Little Rock; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday at Jessieville Church of God with Bro. Larry McNeely officiating. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Pallbearers include: Gib Blackmon, Virgil Ellison, Carroll Flynn, Bryan Flynn, Tony Flynn and Alex Hinson.
