Ray Ditzig
Ray Ditzig of Magnet Cove died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010. He was 80 years old and of the Baptist faith.
Ray was preceded in death by parents, Michael & Mary Ditzig of Malvern, and brothers, Jim, Tom and Paul. Survivors include wife, Wilma; sisters, Adele (Burt) Stockstill, Katy, Texas, Bette Weaver, Cypress, Texas, and Connie (Bob) Pfeiffer of Glenwood; brother, Mick (Sandy) Ditzig, Antioch, Ill.; daughter, Leslee (John) Spraggins, Evanston, Ill.; sons, Mickey (Enrico) Ditzig, New York City, and Jim (Mary) Ditzig, North Little Rock; stepsons, Steve (Shirley) Moore, Sherwood, and Dennis (Carla) Moore, Benton; grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, Lacy and Blythe; step-grandchildren, Carlie and Helene; and six great-grandchildren. Ray was born July 13, 1930, in Waukegan, Illinois, and moved to Arkansas after serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Alcoa as a maintenance mechanic in 1990 after 36 years of service. Ray's life will be celebrated in a private family ceremony.
