Terrye Denise Cooley

Terrye Denise Cooley departed this life on Monday, October 4, 2010 at home. She was born August 28, 1960 in Hot Springs, AR to Horace Brown Jr., and the late Alberta Brown. She was a 1979 graduate of Ole Main High School, North Little Rock. She was employed at the UAMS Cancer Control Center, Little Rock, as the Grants Manager. She was the sole proprietor of Cakes Galore and More. Terrye was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Little Rock, where she served as treasurer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Brown and brother Charles Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 30 years, Michael L. Cooley, two sons, Kevin (Tammy) and Brandon (Antoya), one god son, Courey (LaCora) three grandsons, Kevin Jr., Keenan and JeMarion, her father, Horace Brown Jr., three sisters; Catrina Brown and Angela Chukes, both of Alma, Ark., Kellye Brown-Nichols (Kathy), one brother, London Brown of Little Rock, her adopted sister, Andrea Thrower of North Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She touched the lives of many and was loved by even more. Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010, 6-7 p.m. at Greater St. John MBC, 2100 Madison, Little Rock. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, 11 a.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 105 Smothers St., North Little Rock.
