Bettie "Ma'am" Johnson

Bettie "Ma'am" Johnson, 83, of Little Rock rested from her earthly labors on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. She was a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church--Roosevelt and Main--where she was very active in her Sunday school class. She was retired from LRSD where she had been a much-loved employee at Hall High School. She is survived by her sons, Alan and Victor (Sr.) Johnson; daughters, Barbara Johnson-Price, Janis, Bettie Joyce, and Milinda Johnson; five grandchildren; aunt, Bertha Barnes; and a special sister, Bernice Croston. Obsequies will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at St. John MBC. Services entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Your Entrance to Eternity", 2405 South Gaines. Open visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. at the funeral home, 376-7188.
