LEWIS C. BRISTER, 61, of Little Rock, departed this life Oct. 6, 2010. He served as Chairman of Deacon Board, President of Usher Board and President of Golden Links User's Union at St. John Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Brister; parents, John and Frances Brister; son, Charles Brister; siblings, Thomas, Walter, William, James Brister, Billie Jean Roberson. He leaves to cherish his memories, children, Maurice, Sheila, Stephanie Brister, Jerry, Yolanda Lewis, Tawanda Harris; brothers, John Brister, Larry Green; sister, Johnnye Mae West; 16 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
