Shirley Jean Savage

Shirley Jean Savage, 67, of Mabelvale, formerly of Hamburg, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010. She was born December 28, 1942, in Hamburg, Arkansas, to the late Louis and Estelle Moore Adams. Shirley loved spending time with her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she will be deeply missed. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Savage; two sons, Larry Savage and wife Keitha of Bryant, Arkansas, and Harvey Lynn Savage and wife Tammy of Alexander, Arkansas; one brother Bobby Harold Adams of Star City, Arkansas; and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alva Lee and Louis Adams; and two sisters, Mary Frances Tilly and Carolyn Sue Croft. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
